Novel method for Real Time Talking in YouTube Live streaming

How to communicate with your audience in real time via voice chat on YouTube live.

In general, the only way to communicate with viewers via YouTube live streaming has been via YouTube chat. However, YouTube chat function is not enough to communicate well with your audience. Here I will show you a new method of real-time conversations with YouTube participants using ZOOM L-8 LIVETRAK and Twitter Spaces.

Small delay time of Twitter Spaces

In the voice chat, no delay or small delay time is important point for the communications. However, YouTube Live streaming has widely delay time (app. 10-30 sec). Twitter Spaces allows the real time voice communication with maximum 10 persons and the delay time is very small.

Of course, voice guest participating in the Twitter Spaces and the audiences will see the YouTube live streaming with a slight delay, but the conversation between the operator and the voice guest will take place in real time, so the operator and voice guest will look natural talking to the audience watching the YouTube stream.

This diagram is showing the connection method. Key point for this method is ZOOM L-8 LIVETRAK smartphone connection jack. The returns the output signal to the smartphone, but this output signal does not include the sound from the smartphone, so guests participating by phone will not have an echo.

Operator use a single mic to talk both YouTube Live streaming and Twitter Spaces. Voice guest uses Twitter Spaces on the smartphone to send conversations, and the conversations with operator allows on air to YouTube live streaming.
